Something Wicked This Way Comes

Microburst. On a whim I drove out of town towards where I knew some thunderstorms were developing. (I live in south central Kansas, USA) The storm was moving N-S directly in front of me and this was the last photograph I took. I was surrounded by frequent and intense cloud-to-ground lightning and decided no photo is worth your life. I was the tallest thing around and holding a metal tripod and a metal camera. It was exhilarating and frightening, all at the same time. I retreated to the safety of my car and left the area, worried about potential hail damage.
