One More Cute Kitten On Deviant

You can never have too many cute kitten photos. Right? This was an 8 week old kitten (part Siamese and Tabby) my wife rescued after she saw it dodging traffic at a four lane intersection. She managed to park her car without losing sight of it and was finally able to corral it.  It was one lucky kitten. She brought it home, it had a virus, ear mites and fleas but was otherwise healthy. We took it to a vet where it received the necessary shots and meds for a sniffle and sneeze.  When it became apparent no one was going to claim it, we found a good home for it. It was with us for 3.5 days and my wife and I were totally  smitten from the get-go. We cried a few tears after seeing it being adopted by a good family where it would have two other cat buddies. The new owner would have it neutered when it was old enough (soon) and did not believe in de-clawing. The newer owner had to successfully answer a lot of questions before we were willing to let this little guy go. If there weren't some cat allergy problems where my wife's grandchild is concerned, we'd have probably kept the kitten as our own.   sniff, sniff. Gonna miss this little guy.
